Password Generator is a simple and secure way to generate strong passwords that you can use to protect your emails, data, servers and website accounts from unauthorized access.

Where is the Password Generated

The passwords provided in this site are generated in the client-side (user's side). We do not send or retrieve the password to or from a server across the internet and we do not store it anywhere in any form. Each time you click the "Generate Password" button, the previously generated password is gone forever unless you save it yourself somewhere.

What Makes a Strong Password

A strong password should be at least 8 characters long. It should contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, a number and a special character. Ex: pas$w0Rd.

Why Use Randomly Generated Password

Using randomly generated password is the safest way to create passwords. Random password, ideally 15 characters long, is almost impossible to guess by humans even in its unencrypted form and very hard to decipher by computers once it is encrypted.

How to Securely Store Passwords

One disadvantage of randomly generated passwords is it is hard to remember. However, in this time where security breaches on user databases are very common, the benefits of a random password far outweighs the disadvantages. Fortunately, you can use password managers to store it securely without writing it in a piece of paper. Using a password manager, you only have to remember one password - the password that you use to encrypt the database or secure your account (if you use online password manager service). Here's a comparison of paid and free password managers.
